I am a daughter, sister, aunt and friend. I am determined, headstrong, independent, understanding, and goal oriented. Although these are wonderful qualities to possess, I cannot say that I became these things on my own. My family and my faith have molded me into who and what I am today. I have a close-knit family that has helped push me, give me the drive to pursue my dreams and figure out what I am meant to do in this life. I know that there is something meant for me to do in this world that will change others, and I know that my career will only push me forward in this goal.

I grew up in Southwest Louisiana with five siblings: two brothers and three sisters. Although the youngest, I grew to be the most independent and self-reliant, paving my way through life and ensuring that I experienced everything it had to offer. From a very young age I was always leading my way through situations with a sassy, yet sweet, attitude and southern charm.

I received a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication from McNeese State University in December 2013. During this time I managed to complete a four month internship while also working full time and finding additional time to volunteer for the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. I am currently a graduate student at DePaul University, where I will graduate in June 2015 with a Master of Art in Public Relations and Advertising.
