After living my entire life in Southwest Louisiana, I decided it was time to start a new adventure and moved to Chicago in September 2013.

 

The goal: obtain a Master of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising from DePaul University.

 

What I received was much more valuable than just a degree. Being from the south, I know that a community of support is worth more than gold and made it my mission to provide myself a community in this home away from home. From professors and professionals, to friends that became family, this community provided me with the opportunity to hone my professional skills while staying true to my southern roots.
